Deepener - A Country house

Deepener: The Country House

I want you to imagine, in your mind’s eye, that you are standing at the edge of a quiet country lane. The sky above is clear and blue, with just a few wisps of clouds floating gently by. You feel a soft breeze against your skin, carrying with it the scents of fresh grass, wildflowers, and clean country air. Everything around you feels peaceful, calm, and inviting.

Ahead of you, nestled at the end of a tree-lined driveway, is a grand, old country house. Its stone walls are weathered but sturdy, and the large windows glint in the warm sunlight. The house seems to have stood there for centuries, a quiet observer of time passing. You feel drawn to it, knowing that inside lies a place of complete tranquility, a space where you can relax deeply and fully.

You begin walking toward the house now, feeling the soft gravel of the path crunch beneath your feet. With each step, you feel a little lighter, a little more relaxed. As you walk, the trees lining the path sway gently in the breeze, their leaves rustling softly, as though welcoming you into this peaceful place.

As you approach the large wooden front door of the house, you notice that it is slightly open, as though waiting for you. You reach out and push it gently, hearing the soft creak of the hinges as it swings inward. Stepping inside, you are immediately enveloped by a feeling of warmth and calm. The air inside is cool and still, with the faint smell of aged wood and lavender drifting through the air.

You find yourself standing in the entrance hall of the country house, and the space around you feels safe, inviting. The wooden floorboards beneath your feet are smooth and worn from years of footsteps, and the high ceilings above give the room an open, airy feel. Soft light streams in through the windows, casting warm, golden beams across the room, and everything is bathed in a gentle, peaceful glow.

Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, feel yourself letting go of any tension, any worries. This house is a sanctuary, a place where you can relax completely, where nothing can disturb your peace.

Ahead of you is a grand staircase, its banister smooth and polished from years of use. The staircase curves gently upward, leading to the quieter, more private rooms of the house. You know that as you ascend these stairs, you will feel even more relaxed, even more at ease. Let’s begin walking up the stairs now, step by step.

Take the first step, feeling your body relax even further.
Ten... calm and steady.
Nine... with each step, your mind quietens, your body feels heavier.
Eight... deeper and deeper into relaxation.
Seven...
Six...

Five... more and more relaxed, every muscle letting go.
Four... your thoughts begin to slow, your breathing deep and even.
Three... almost at the top, feeling completely at ease.
Two...
One... reaching the top, where you feel the deepest sense of calm wash over you.

At the top of the stairs, the house feels even more serene, even more peaceful. The air is still, and the sunlight filters in through large windows, casting soft, golden light across the wooden floors. You notice a long hallway stretching out in front of you, lined with doors leading to different rooms, each one a private space of rest and relaxation.

You walk slowly down the hallway, feeling the softness of a large, plush rug beneath your feet. With every step, you feel your body growing heavier, your mind sinking deeper into relaxation. As you pass each door, you sense the quiet and calm that lies behind them, knowing that each room is filled with peaceful energy, a place where you can fully let go.

At the end of the hallway, you find a door that catches your eye. Something about it draws you in, as though it is meant just for you. You reach out and open the door gently, stepping inside. The room you enter is the perfect space for relaxation. The walls are a soft, calming color, and the room is filled with warm, natural light. In the center of the room is a large, comfortable armchair, positioned beside a window that overlooks the peaceful countryside.

You walk over to the armchair and sink down into it, feeling the softness of the cushions beneath you. The chair cradles your body perfectly, supporting you in a way that makes you feel completely at ease. As you settle into the chair, you feel all the remaining tension in your body melt away. Your arms rest gently by your sides, your legs are heavy, and your breathing becomes slow and steady. With every breath you take, you sink deeper and deeper into this wonderful feeling of calm.

You look out the window, and the view is breathtaking. Rolling hills stretch out into the distance, covered in soft, green grass that sways gently in the breeze. The sky is a brilliant blue, and the sun bathes everything in a warm, golden glow. Birds soar lazily in the distance, and you can just make out the sound of a babbling brook somewhere far below.

As you sit here, in this peaceful country house, you feel completely safe, completely at peace. The world outside seems so far away, and all that matters is this moment of deep relaxation. You feel the warmth of the sun on your skin, the soft breeze coming through the open window, and the gentle rhythm of your own breath, carrying you deeper and deeper into calm.

Take a deep breath in now, and as you exhale, let yourself sink even further into the chair, into this peaceful state. You are fully supported here, by the soft cushions, by the peaceful energy of the house, and by your own inner calm. With every breath, you relax more deeply, feeling the heaviness of your body and the quiet stillness of your mind.

In this room, in this house, you are free from all distractions, all worries. Nothing can disturb your peace. You are surrounded by tranquility, and you feel a sense of deep, restorative rest washing over you. Every muscle in your body is relaxed, every thought is quiet, and you are simply floating in this peaceful moment, allowing yourself to let go completely.

As you sit here, enjoying this deep state of relaxation, you realize that this house is more than just a building. It is a sanctuary, a place where you can always come to rest, to find peace, to escape from the busyness of the outside world. This is YOUR place to de-stress.

The country house represents the calm within you, the part of yourself that is always at peace, no matter what is happening outside.

You can return to this house whenever you need to. All you need to do is close your eyes and imagine walking down that tree-lined path, through the front door, and up the staircase to this quiet, private room. It will always be here for you, waiting to offer you peace and rest and allow you to

 de-stress.

For now, simply enjoy the stillness of this moment. Let the peace of the country house fill you, from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. You are deeply relaxed, deeply at peace, and nothing can disturb this feeling. Breathe in the calm, the serenity, and as you exhale, feel yourself letting go of anything that no longer serves you.

You are safe here. You are calm. You are at peace.
